Thomas Krieber was born in 1975 in Lower Bavaria. He has roots in East Prussia, Pomerania, Croatia and Austria, and grew up in shifting family and social environments that confronted him early on with ruptures, relocations and existential challenges.
After training as a draughtsman, he worked across a wide range of fields – from architecture and design to consulting, service and communication, and later in his own ventures in mobile communications, creative work and life‑strategy development. In parallel, he developed a strong artistic and philosophical orientation: photography, art, graphic and web design, Asian movement practices, Zen meditation, Western psychology and Taoism, as well as early impulses from Traditional Chinese Medicine, have shaped his thinking and forms of expression for many years. His largely autodidactic projects combine personal experience, creative work and reflective life practice.
His engagement with his own biography – marked by early trauma, psychological strain, social ruptures and a decades‑long journey of resilience – forms the core of his autobiographical work. Today, he lives and writes, or rather works once again, in Bavaria, dedicating himself to the literary exploration of an extraordinary life story that speaks of survival, transformation and inner clarity.
